Camdyn's Test

On Tuesday we took Camdyn in for her EEG. We were dreading this test because we had to sleep deprive her so she would sleep during the test. She slept from 12:00-6:30 the night before her test. Craig took the late shift and I took the early shift. Everything went smoothly. Within five minutes of getting in her room, Camdyn was asleep. The techs put 22 electrodes on her head. She slept the entire time. After the test, I picked her up to leave and she woke up. The only nap she had was 30 minutes. Whenever you think your child is going to sleep a long time, it never works that way. Camdyn is pictured with her new bear and her bracelet. Her hair is all greasy from the cream they put on the electrodes to make them stay in place. This morning (Thursday) we took Camdyn in for her EKG and an echocardio. The test were quick and simple. Camdyn did great. Hopefully in the next couple of days we will get the results. Thanks to everyone who has watched Carter (and Camdyn) during all of our doctor's appointments!

Picture Time

Carter-Family

Last week we took Carter to get his 1 year photos. We decided to take family pictures at the same time. We went to JcPenney's which is where we have gone every time since Camdyn has been born. It has always been a good experience there except for once or twice. Carter and Camdyn did really good, despite the off schedule day (I was asked to sub at Sonshine school that day and so Carter only had one nap.) Camdyn has always been really cooperative when getting her picture taken. Overall, we were pleased with our pictures.

Chips Anyone?

Chipper

I know you are probably getting sick of hearing about our land, but we are excited about it...and thus we blog. Craig rented a chipper to get rid of some of the brush that we cleared at the land. We only had the chipper for 4 hours, which was plenty of time to do the work, and got us thoroughly tired. Craig's Dad and Alex helped us (thanks guys). The chipper got stuck in the mud once, which was a 30 minute struggle which we overcame. So if anybody in our neck of the woods needs mulch just let us know. Click on the pic to see more.

Carter's1st B-day

Can you believe that Carter is ONE!! Time flies by when you have two kids. My parents came down for the weekend and we had a quaint little party with just family. We thought Carter would dig into his cake and make a huge mess. This kid puts everything in his mouth, from dirt to sticks to batteries...everything that is except birthday cake! He wouldn't touch it, and when he did he was mad that the frosting stuck to his hand. We couldn't believe it. We still had fun though. He got some nice gifts from Aunt Stacy and Uncle Scott, and from Aunt Kristy and Uncle Alex. He also got his own sandbox from Grandma and Grandpa Collins (sand not included). Maybe he will do better at his next first birthday that we will have next week with Craig's parents. Click on pic to see his birthday party Album.

Working the Land

Here are some pics of our land. Craig and I worked out there for about four hours this morning. My sister's husband Alex helped us and we got a lot of work done. Click on the pic to see more photos.
